Dateline says “You might be Rich!!!”
I’m not sure about everyone else, but I’m a total chronic channel surfer. I guess in many ways, my attention span is very minimal depending on my interest level. With that, only certain television shows actually catch my interest. The lucky few that I like to watch are either humorous, scary, intellectually stimulating or heartwarming. Tonight, I watched a show that definitely got my attention. The show that I watched is called “You might be Rich” by Dateline MSNBC.
I’m not sure how long this show has been airing, but it really doesn’t matter since I know about it now. The show basically shows different cases of everyday people who are owed money by either the state, businesses or companies. Many people who get random calls think that it’s either the credit card companies trying to collect or telemarketers trying to sell something and so they don’t even bother picking up the phone or following up with any mail or contact they have been presented with.
How awesome would it be to know that there is money that is owed to you by the state that you live in or by a company you worked with or by an insurance company that you had that you never knew about or even money that you invested a long time ago that you forgot about? With how the economy is today and how so many people are struggling, wouldn’t it be a blessing to find out that there is money out there that is rightfully yours?
Well here is your chance to find out whether you do have any money owed to you. You can also find out if any of your friends or family members have any money owed to them as well. All you have to do is go to www.dateline.msnbc.com and click on the link that says “You might be Rich.” There is a box on the lower left hand corner that has all the states listed. Look for the state where you live in and click on that link. It will transfer you to a government state link where you can enter your name or any name you know and… “voila” there would be information posted that will tell you if you have money owed to you or anyone you know. It’s quite simple.
After I watched the show, like an addict, I went to the site and went crazy on different names of family members and friends. Not that I want to stalk them or to wonder just out of my curiosity how much they have owed to them, but to see if they do have any money owed to them so that I would be able to tell them the great news.
How awesome would it be to tell someone you know or care about that they have money that is rightfully theirs? I know that just having a bit of extra money can make anyone happy especially if you need help with your financial situation. It’s an amazing feeling to be able to share great news with people. It’s just like doing your job as a mailman or woman by delivering mail or news that isn’t coming from you directly but indirectly, but yet you get the benefit of seeing or experience the happiness of someone that you care about when their good news is received.
So if you don’t know about it already, go crazy and find out if you have money that belongs to you. Sometimes good things do come to those who wait and I do feel that God has perfect timing. I mean thinking about it, if there was a time you found out about this years ago, you probably would’ve spent the money that you need today. =) Good luck and good hunting… It is all legit!
